The ground rules for using this site, how we protect our work, and how we handle the information you share with us.

Terms of Use

Effective October 12, 2026

Who we are

This website, acros.studio (the "Site"), is operated by Acros Studio, a commercial creative production studio based in Washington, D.C. ("Acros," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Our work is not for reuse

Every photograph, film, video, set design, piece of writing and design element on the Site, including the Acros name and logo, is owned by Acros Studio or by the clients we created it for, and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark laws.

You're welcome to view the Site and share links to it. Without our written permission, you may not:

  • Download, screenshot, copy or save any image or video for reuse
  • Edit, crop, filter or remove credits from any of our work
  • Use our work in advertising, social media, websites, print, pitch decks or any commercial project
  • Present our work as your own or as a reference for another production without credit and permission
  • Use our work to train, prompt or build any artificial intelligence or machine learning tool

To license an image or video, email partnerships@acros.studio. We act on unauthorized use, including takedown notices and other remedies the law allows.

Client work and brands

Work created for clients appears on the Site with their permission to show what Acros produces. The names, logos and trademarks of those brands belong to their owners, and their appearance here does not mean they endorse anything beyond the work shown. A client's rights to use the work are set by that client's own agreement with Acros.

Portfolio, not an offer

Descriptions of our services, past projects and availability are general information about Acros and how we work. They are not a quote, an offer or a promise of a result. Every project is governed by its own written proposal or contract.

Booking a call

Calls are scheduled and held through third-party scheduling and video meeting services. Booking a call doesn't create a client relationship or obligate either of us to work together. A project begins only when both parties sign a written agreement.

What you share with us

Information you send us by email or through the booking form, such as a creative brief, is not covered by any confidentiality obligation until we both sign an agreement that says so. We treat what you share with care, but please hold back anything truly sensitive until an agreement is in place.

Links and third-party services

The Site uses and links to third-party services we don't control, such as scheduling, video meeting, music and social media services. We aren't responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

The Site is provided "as is"

We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we make no promises or warranties, express or implied, that its content is complete, current or fit for any particular purpose. Content may change or be removed at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Acros Studio will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content. Where the law doesn't allow certain limitations, our liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be handled in the courts located in Washington, D.C.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

The short version

We collect only what we need to talk with you and do good work. We don't sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

When you book a call. Bookings are handled by a third-party scheduling service. When you book, it collects your name, email address, the time you choose, your time zone and anything you add to the booking form, and shares it with us so we can prepare for the call. Calls may be held on a third-party video meeting service. Each service's own privacy policy applies to the data it handles.

When you email us. We receive your email address and whatever you choose to share, such as your name, company, project details and files.

Collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, to keep the Site running and secure. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our scheduling service may use cookies needed to make booking work.

Third-party content on the Site

  • Acros Radio plays a playlist from a third-party music service. The player loads only when you open it, and that service may set its own cookies once it does.
  • Fonts are served by a third-party font service, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
  • Social media links open those platforms' own sites.
  • The "Your device" line in the footer is worked out in your own browser and is never stored or sent to us.

How we use it

  • To reply to your messages and schedule calls
  • To prepare proposals, plan productions and deliver client work
  • To send invoices and keep the business records we're required to keep
  • To keep the Site secure and working properly

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We share information only with trusted service providers that help us run the studio, such as our scheduling, email, file storage and website hosting providers, and only as needed for them to do that work. On a production, we may share the details needed to run the shoot with the crew and vendors working on it.

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Acros Studio or others.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for as long as we're required to keep business and tax records. After that, we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we have about you, correct it or delete it. Email partnerships@acros.studio and we'll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local laws, and we'll honor those requests too.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure, reputable service providers. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is meant for brands and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
